It's Your Business, Make it Your Training
Every business is different. Different people, markets, products, clients and customers, suppliers - all manner of variance.
It is a reason why some companies don't invest in training, for one thing, where to start?
Apart from being passionate about business education, we at Total Freedom Training have other lives. We run businesses and we either coach or consult to our clients.
We have designed our training on how adults learn and how to make sure that you get the exact desired return on your training investment.
First Meeting - Define Needs
We don't like to say the first meeting is free - "what you're not going to charge me for the sales meeting? How kind!"
Training is something that is most likely needed within your business but you don't know where to start and you don't know how much and what you are looking to get out of it. We like meet with you first to discuss your business, where it is heading and what skills may be missing to achieve the short, medium and long term goals.
We are more interested in your vision and how you are engaging your staff. Whithout this, no matter how much training you undertake, your goals will not be fulfilled.
It is critical for us to understand your training needs, how these are going to assist you in achieving the goals of your business.
Designing Your Training Plan
It's around this point that we are looking for a commitment from you to undertake a training programme. If you are not ready to make a commitment, then it is most likely we have not explored all of your business needs. If this is the case, we go back to step one. You need to feel comfortable about training, it is an investment in your business, and since we guarantee our work, we want you to be very clear and ready to move forward.
Designing your training plan allows us to really look at your business. What processes do you have in place to support growth, what is the level of communication in your business, how are the roles of manager and leader defined. Designing your training plan is an educational experience for all of our clients as it is the first steps to really defining how growth will happen in their business.
The plan looks at timing, the sequencing of learning, any immediate needs and they types of foundation training that is required.
We also look at the KPIs in your business that the training will assist in achieving. We like to define how these are to be tracked and measured and what support elements outside training are in place to ensure the training is put into practice. Remember we guarantee our work, we know our training delivers real change and improvement in businesses.
This definition work is highly valuable to our clients. Measurements within the majority of our clients are very financially focussed with very few operational statistics backing these up. By defining points of measurement that the training will affect actually helps place alot more detail and management back into the business.
Delivering the Training
All of our courses can be customised to suite your specific needs and we can design new courses if you require. Having said that, our courses have been developed over the years with close to 600 businesses being attendees at our workshops.
On site training is preferrable to some businesses as it reduces the amount of down time on 'the shop floor'. It also means that more people can attend the workshop sessions. Our workshops are designed for 3 to 3.5 hours total running time - so in the past if it was a full day training course, we deliver the course over 2 mornings or afternoons.
The benefit of this? Firstly it reduces the disruption of having a team or a person out of your business for a full day. Secondly, learning retention and implementation is significantly improved - you simply can not remember everything out of a full day training course.
But most important, we finish session one with a specific set of tasks for our attendees to do for 'home work'. In the second session we begin by going over these points and discussing what worked and what did not.
This is our greatest value add - we make sure there is a framework for follow up and support people in forming new habits through re-inforcement.
Typically our clients do not do one off courses, it is a series either delivered one afternoon or morning a month or fortnight. So the process of follow up and re-inforcement becomes a habit in itself. The importance of this is that it develops good communication within the business and establishes a learning culture, one that naturally grows - because it has too.
Measuring Results
We have close and regular contact with our clients through training delivery so there are ample opportunities to check in and see how you are tracking to the agreed KPIs. This allows us to make changes where necessary to make sure everything stays on track and goals are reached.
Being able to closely track and monitor where you are ensures you are going to meet your KPIs.
Our Guarantee
Most training companies guarantees are after the event - 'If you are not satisfied with the course, we'll refund your money'. Which is the same for us if you are only doing one course.
Because we are focussed on helping you achieve long term goals within your business, we guarantee our training plan as well.
If you do not achieve the defined KPIs in the agreed time frames that is written into your training plan - we refund 50% of your investment.
Our Goal
Do you know what a 'Raving Fan' is? Do you have them in your business?
These are customers or clients that are so loyal to you they actively ensure anyone they know will know about you.

Our goal is to make you a Raving Fan of our business. This is our number one, big don't argue value. And to make sure everyone we meet and do business with are potential Raving Fans, we firstly guarantee our work and then back up this guarantee with excellent courses and support.
